Social Networking - how to build your web presence and business with social networking.

It took me awhile to figure out what social networking even is! I must be getting to old is what I thought.

Social networking is using sites like myspace.com, linkedin.com and other sites that allow you to set up free profile pages to connect you with friends or even more importantly other businesses or potential clients for your businesses.

The biggest thing to remember when trying to build your business is that a social network profile should be focusing on your potential clients and readers - not you!

So start your blog posts or pages with thing like 'you don't have to live in pain any longer' or 'Are you looking for relief from your stress in downtown Seattle'.

I actually have not used social networking succesfully yet to drive traffic to my sites but I have just set up some social network pages to test my theories.
