Money Psychology
Each persons money psychology or beliefs about money and what money means to them will be projected onto their work and life. Money is such an emotional issue. We chase money and struggle from the lack of money. What people fail to do is to question their beliefs about money to become more conscious of why they need/want money. Of course everyone needs enough money to care for themselves, their family and give some back to the community. We get caught up in striving for more and more without really knowing why. Money gives people a sense of power. When the money is taken away (as it has been most recently for many) people often lose their sense of self. Uncovering your personal money psychology or what money means to you can help you to make more believe it or not. We chase after money thinking it will solve our problems of wanting to care for ourselves and families. When you focus on things like your debt or the loss of money what you get is more of that. When you start focusing on the solutions to those problems you have more possibilities to make more money. It changes the feeling you get about having the money problem. When the feeling changes and lightens you will have more energy to take the actions you need to keep feeling better. Money isn't always the answer to feeling better and often isn't the answer. What is the answer is following your passion to find your true essence that once got buried under the formation of your personality. Understanding your personal beliefs about money and anything for that matter takes time and the courage to dig deep inside and uncover the real you. It can often be a very painful process but in the long run will bring you more joy. See also:Getting out of debt
