Start comparing them using the niche choose it tool. which is a easy to use tool for analyzing your preferences. Just click through the example to get an idea of what you will be doing and try to narrow it down to 3 or 4 concepts or ideas.

If you are only starting with a few ideas you can begin with the Search it! Tool which can be a little confusing to use at first but it is really a powerful tool to use to start the brainstorming process.

Just click on the help buttons as you go and try a few different searches by selecting the brainstorming option in step one and choosing one of the options in step two. I prefer starting with the Overture Keyword Search tool or the Google Keyword search tool. What these tools will tell you is how many people are searching for the idea that you are researching.

Then you can use it to get an idea of who else is doing something similar to you by using the competition search in step one.

Once you get an idea of how many other are searching for information on your topics you can begin to get a better idea of what you want to do.

Sometimes what happens is that the numbers do not show a high demand and a low supply and you will have to trust your instincts and follow your passion.

I actually think that passion fuels 99% of the process unless your topic is underwater basket weaving - even then you could probably be successful because you could create the demand for such information!

Once you start getting the hang of it all and start seeing that you do have something to offer others, it is time to start with Site Build it! which will take the process a step farther using special software called Brainstorm It! that will help you further investigate and research your possible site concept or niche.

The thing to remember is that anyone can do this. It is all laid out for you in the SBI action guide and there is plenty of help in the SBI forums that you will get access to with your SBI system. It isn't always easy and it does require putting in some time and effort on your part. To me it sure beats having to sit in traffic and/or work for someone else!
